Queen Aurala’s reign of Aundair begins.

A trio of hags known as the Daughters of Sora Kell invade western Breland with an army of trolls, ogres, and gnolls. Unable to confront both the monsters and fight its opponents in the Last war, King Boranel pulls settlers back and seals off the land west of the Graywall Mountains. The Daughters of Sora Kell declare the sovereignty of the nation of Droaam.

The first elemental airships go into service for House Lyrandar.

Kaius III’s rule of Karrnath begins upon his 20th birthday.
Kaius III is secretly imprisoned in the Dreadhold upon his 20th birthday. His father, Kaius II, disguises himself as Kaius III and retains the throne of Karrnath.

Jaela Daran (age 11) assumes the power of the Keeper of the Silver Flame.
Emissaries from the nations fighting in the Last War gather at a weapons auction in Stormreach organized by the drow artificer calling himself Richmond. Powerful arcane weapons are sold to Cyre and Karrnath. Breland secretly purchases the weapon but keeps it hidden. Thrane secretly purchases an arcane shield to defend itself from the weapon.

993 YK
Kaius III escapes from the Dreadhold with the help of fellow prisoners and unknown conspirators. He slays his father, Kaius II, and takes his place upon the throne of Karrnath. His fellow escapees from the Dreadhold, Travis and Thriller, become close confidants and advisers.

994 YK
A magical blast of unprecedented power obliterates the nation of Cyre creating the Mournland.
Kaius III marries Etrigani, an Aereni diplomat, and forges an alliance with Aerenal. He gains the support of Valenar by promising formal recognition as a nation. With the elven nations backing him, he pressures the remaining nations of Khorvaire to negotiate a peace treaty whose terms are largely dictated by Karrnath.

The Treaty of Thronehold officially ends the Last War. The treaty officially recognizes the nations of Aundair, Breland, Thrane, Karrnath, the Talenta Plains, Zilargo, Q’barra, the Lhazaar Principalities, the Mror Holds, the Eldeen Reaches, Darguun, and Valenar.

The treaty further commands House Cannith to destroy the creation forges (the devices used to create warforged). Remaining warforged are granted the rights of sentient beings.
A sanctuary for warforged is established in Valenar for research and study purposes.

Largely due to war refugees, the City of Stormreach expands.

998 YK – The Present
The druid Morris leads a party of treasure hunters into the Mournland and discovers the seed of the Delorean Tree.
The druid artificer Mari sacrifices herself to plant the Forest of the Mournland in the ruins of Metrol.

1044 YK
Within 50 years after the Day of Mourning, the continent of Khorvaire is dominated by elves, half elves, and humans. A program of eugenics and forced sterilization proposed by Kaius III leads to the gradual shrinking of other humanoid and monster populations on Khorvaire. Pockets of resistance among orcs, half-orcs, goblins, and others exist in the fringes of the continent.

1066 YK
The former nations of Galifar are united under the Federation of Nations. The remaining territories of Khorvaire and the Lhazaar Principalities are eventually annexed by the Federation.
Kaius III, now 95 years of age, becomes the first prime minister of the new Federation. Through arcane rituals administered by Aereni mages, Kaius III gains the longevity of a half elf. He remains in his post for the remainder of his life, ushering in a brief period of relative peace and stability. He institutes a caste system for elves, half elves, humans, and some dwarves, excluding all others from the social hierarchy.

1093 YK
Publication of Grey’s Almanac written by the lich historian and prophet Dorian C. Grey. The book contains a detailed history of the Last War and statistical forecasts that predict the future.
The members of the Warforged Sanctuary send an emissary named Builder to the city of Korth, the capital of Karrnath, to petition the nations for the right to establish an autonomous warforged nation in the Mournland.
Builder and his band Eternal Eclipse give a concert performance aboard the elemental galleon Red Shadow in front of an audience of vampire nobles and bone knights.
Builder survives when the Red Shadow is scuttled outside the King’s Bay in a conspiracy by Kaius III to purge the undead nobility of Karrnath.

1094 YK
The warforged leaders Thriller and Builder successfully petition the nations of Khorvaire and obtain a charter to establish a new nation in the Mournland called Zero One. The people of Zero One rename themselves the Landforged.

1101 YK
Seven years after the founding of Zero One, a deadly virus begins to spread across Khorvaire. Living constructs are immune to the virus. Landforged healers and artificers collaborate with their counterparts in other nations and successfully develop a cure.

1166 YK
Kaius III steps down from his role as prime minister of the Federation of Nations after a century of reign. His successor ends the caste system and eugenics program, granting equal rights and privileges to all living creatures.

1186 YK
Following a century of peaceful coexistence, Zero One formally joins the Federation of Nations.

1193 YK
The Forest of the Mournland spreads across the rest of the continent of Khorvaire. It continues to spread to the other continents around the world.

2063 YK
The human artificer Zefram d’Cannith invents the first Spelljammer and makes peaceful contact with an alien species. Soon after, the Prime Minister of the Federation of Nations signs an agreement with other world leaders, pledging to join together in a United Eberron government.

3000 YK ~ 6000 YK
For thousands of years, the people of Eberron enjoy an era of peace and prosperity. Sentient creatures and constructs live in harmony with nature in the World Forest, a green utopia that covers the known world.
Spelljammers explore the outer reaches of the Sea of Night, boldly going where no one has gone before.
